How to Overcome the Metal Barrier and Get Wifi in Your Barn

How can I extend the wifi signal from my house to a metal barn that is 150 feet away?
I have a Tmobile wifi service and a wireless bridge, but they do not seem to work. I want to connect a router inside the barn with a wire, but I need a wireless solution to get the internet signal from the house to the barn. The barn is made of metal and has a separate power supply, so I cannot use a powerline adapter. Would a range extender on the outside of the barn be enough to penetrate the metal? What other options do I have?
